# Glass silicone OPTIMALE sleeve
Thermal protection sleeve for steel pipes (stiff or flexible), rubber hoses, electric cables… exposed to high temperatures in industry, aeronautical, automotive, ship building
The sleeve, composed of knitted glass yarns, is coated with a thick layer of red silicone, granting an incomparable elasticity (more than 30%)
Its main advantages are :
- V-1 classifying according to the UL94 standard (flammability test) and M1 in France,
- Low smoke toxicity in the event of a fire,
- Continuous temperature up to 260°C, peak resistance up to 1200°C,
- Inside diameter from 10 to 125 mm and larger, tailor made diameters upon request,
- 30 meters per box, other sales unit upon study.
